Graduates can pursue specialised Master's degrees in narrower domains — food chemistry, biotechnology, agricultural economics, environmental engineering, or related fields — at AUTh or any EU institution.
Because the Integrated Master is a Level 7 qualification, graduates can apply directly to PhD programmes — typically integrating into one of the AUTh research labs they encountered during the Master's thesis, or moving to international research networks.

Under prescribed conditions, graduates of the programme qualify for registration as Γεωπόνος (Agronomist) with the Geotechnical Chamber of Greece — a regulated, legally protected profession with formal practice rights in agriculture, food science, and natural resource management.
Through the EU's mutual recognition framework for regulated professions, this status carries across the European Union — making graduates eligible to practise in every EU member state, with standardised procedures for cross-border professional registration.
